T Salon in Chelsea Market. Pot of green jade oolong about $9. Afternoon tea is $35pp. Relaxing with acoustic Bjork, Boards of Canada, and Dead Can Dance. However all the cakes and cookies are vegan. Is that good or bad?

Han Bat Budae Jigae
The Budae Jigae at Han Bat Restaurant 53 W 35 St. NYC NY 10001. Rough Translation: army base stew. Shortly after the war the main way to get meats and foods was from the American army bases. Expired cans of spam, canned pork sausages etc. The stew contains: Spam, pork frankfurters, bacon, flava beans, tofu in a spicy hot soup. About $15 with tax and tip.
Newspapers are old
Newspapers are old. They may be technically modern, but they largely seem out of place in whatever post postmodern age we're in now. Consider then this photo. Can you make it out? Clearly even when papers were new and or necessary, they were still considered inconvenient to hold and read, enough so to warrant an aiding device. In this age that's only intensified, and yet devices such ar this have mostly disappeared. More on what I'm getting at in another, non-mobile post.

The secret garden in the Conservancy
The secret garden in the Conservancy Garden. South of the enterance at 105th st and 5th ave. It's heavily fragrant with blossoms and I saw a red cardinal, by which I mean a bird not a church functionary.
The northern garden of the Conservancy
The northern garden of the Central Park Conservancy Garden. At 105th and 5th. Free tours saturdays at 11am spring to fall.
Central Park east side by 97th
Central Park near 97th and 5th ave. Note to self: 5 resized photos is about the most that fit in one MMS. After the rain young crows bathed in puddles. But I forgot the battery for my better camera.
