So since the iPad announcement (only shocker was the price, and lack of even a 1mp camera) everyone's wondering what a Micro SIM card is and how they can get one. Being unlocked is awesome, had it supported the more common Mini SIM (only 13mm or so bigger) one could have used it in WiFi mode and occasionally popped in our phone's SIM when in a jam. This is not elegant, but it would have worked. As it stands now however, you'd have to ask your carrier to give you a Micro SIM with no phone features and just data. While it would be in all carriers' interests to say: "Not a problem Sir/Madam," I suspect that isn't going to happen, especially in places where carriers have a virtual monopoly, like say, the U.A.E. or Switzerland.

First Post

This is the obligatory self-referential first post. In it one would discuss the aim of the blog and details about the author. I am, however, uncertain as to what specifically I will write about, and reticent as to personal details in a public space.

My aim in part is to enable those few individuals that would have some interest in my personal endeavors to track my progress in them without necessarily having to keep in touch.
